Hi Toni, Lynn, Mary Ann, Johnny and Richard,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the remarkable job you did at my aunt’s house this past week.
I’m not sure what I expected, but your hard work, work-ethic, consistent attention to every little detail, was breathtaking.
You know, when you close out someone’s life it’s always a rite of passage, a turning point, and in my aunt’s case,
that home has been in my own life since I was ten. It’s hard to articulate the unsettled sense as a group descends
and like leaf-cutting ants, take objects out one by one. In her case it was like removing brushstrokes from a
painting that took her a lifetime to paint.
You could not have made the process easier for me. I’ve come to know that if you deliver excellence, all the time, you never know who might be paying attention. I certainly was.
